Community - [ PRIDE Youth Programs ]

We had nearly 100 middle school students gathered together on Saturday November 4th at Hart Middle School for the 2006 Club PRIDE Training Day.

Four Middle Schools Participated including, Avondale, Hart, Reuther and West. This year we had 2 National Club PRIDE trainers come out to train our students in skits and dances that they can use to spread the message of a drug free life in this community.

The students spent the morning learning skits, dances and even some sign language. After a quick lunch break we all came back together to learn one more dance before putting on a mock performance for over 25 families and friends.

The performance went wonderfully and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The teams are ready to head back to their home schools and teach everyone in their club PRIDE group the skits and dances they learned.

Look for Club PRIDE of Rochester and Auburn Hills performing in local elementary and high schools as well as at community functions beginning in December.
